Here are some other random pictures from our day in Venice.
The city of Venice floods over 100 times a year. As we passed back through the piazza that afternoon, the water levels were beginning to rise in front of St. Marc's.
McDonald's even made it to Venice!

We passed by a little restaurant that had created all these "faces" out of pizza crust!
By late afternoon, we stopped at a restaurant for desert. We sat right on the edge of the water of the Grand Canal and watched the gondolas pass by. What a memory!
