Recently we had a mango that had gotten just a little too ripe to eat, so we decided to see if Cody liked mangoes. He pretty much ate every morsel except for the pit!

Easter 2009

Our Easter Sunday was crazy so we did away with our usual Easter Lunch and had Easter Supper!

Yes...we had McDonald's for lunch.

I spent most of the afternoon cooking and we enjoyed a wonderful dinner together as a family.

Resurrection Cookies

On the eve of Easter, the kids and I made Resurrection Cookies. For those who have never made these, each step and/or ingredient represent part of the Easter Story. It was a special time together as we were reminded of the price that was paid for our sins.

BCCBC Summer Camp

We were blessed to be able to attend our church's summer camp this year. It was a great time of fellowship and encouragement and the youth did a great job in planning the camp. Here are a few pictures of some of the week's events.
