Furlough - here, there and everywhere

Here are several miscellaneous pictures from August.

We are so thankful for Spring Creek church. They are faithful supporters and such a blessing and encouragement to us!

In mid-August, we took our favorite Tita to the airport. We were sad to say goodbye - again - but happy for the work she will be doing. (We had to go to the airport VERY early. You can tell by looking at Carly's eyes!)

As we were leaving the airport, the sun was rising over Little Rock. Beautiful!

As we travel all over the country, we eat in many restaurants. This is a typical picture of Carly's, drawn on a place mat.

We went up to my parents' cabin one day to help with some clean-up. Dad, Wade and Caleb played with the "big-boy" toys!!

Enjoyed being at Central Baptist Church in Prescott. We have lots of friends from our college days at that church and it was so good to visit with them all again.

Baby Jackson

I was so excited to be in Conway when my cousin, Talissa, gave birth to her 3rd child. I wasn't around when Lucas and Emma were born, but I was here to welcome Jackson into this world!!

We were able to meet up with our good friends, the Hagens, at Silver Dollar City. They are also home on furlough and like us, are keeping a very busy schedule. We felt so blessed to find an empty day on both of our calendars where we could meet up for some fun!!
