This is one of those silly little carnival rides that they have at MOA. The kids beg to ride this every time we are there and mean ol' Mom and Dad always say no. This time, Mom and Dad let them ride before they even asked!
Don't know if you can see or not, but Carly and Caleb are in the top car.
One of the best perks of being in Manila is getting some good, much-missed, American food! As you can see, the kids got to choose where we had lunch. MOA finally has a new Burger King!
Another fav at MOA is the huge 3-D IMAX theatre. This week, THE POLAR EXPRESS was playing and we all agreed it was the best thing we've ever seen on the IMAX!
The lobby of the IMAX is decorated with lots of cool Coke stuff! It's a fun place to hang out.
After the movie, we stopped for a few pics of this really cool POLAR EXPRESS display.
Check out Caleb's eyes. LOL! Guess he's worried about that train that's about to run over him!!
"I love being a girl!!"
We ended our day at MOA with a really special treat. We have some good friends that used to live down in Bicol, but now live in Manila. They returned just a few months ago from spending two years at home in Ireland. Although Carly and I were able to visit with them briefly last July, we hadn't all been together in 2 1/2 years! We enjoyed a nice dinner together and it was so cool to see the kids re-connect immediately, as if they'd never been apart!
Wade and Jo with good friends, Peter and Sarah McKibbon
Thanks guys for making the effort to meet us at MOA. It was great to see you and visit with you again! Hope to do it again soon!
The kids were amazed at the size of MOA's Christmas tree! Can you see us standing at the bottom? I'm guessing this could be the largest tree in Manila!
And no visit to MOA is complete without a stop at Krispy Kreme!
