Miscellaneous, Missionaries & Mummies

Here are a few of our miscellaneous pictures from January.

One morning I went in to wake Caleb up and found him in this "tent". Apparently he'd slept this way all night!

We were able to have our January missionary fellowship (BEEF) at a local water sports place. The kids were able to get in some good "sand time" while the adults spent some time visiting.

We had an extra special treat this BEEF meeting because Mikayla, Zach and Ben's grandpa and grandma were visiting. They served as missionaries here in the Philippines for many years with New Tribes. The highlight of the afternoon was when Grandpa Jackson shared the "Snake Story" - a true story of an experience he had years ago here in the Philippines. As you can see from the picture, the kids were hanging on his every word!

We've been studying Ancient Egypt in school the last few weeks. One day, as we were reading about mummies, we decided we needed to become mummies!! How fun is that? Thank you, Lord, for giving me the privilege to be able to learn alongside my children each and every day!

Now isn't this the cutest little mummy you've ever seen?!
