SHE'S HERE!!!

Late Friday evening, August 26th, my friend and I went to the International Airport in Manila to greet our newest missionary, Miss Sarah Hebert!

Sarah's flight arrived at 11 pm, but due to security reasons, we can't get inside the airport. We waited in the area for greeters and kept a close watch on the monitors - waiting to see her smiling face come around the corner. :)

While we were waiting, these kids were playing around with some bubbles and having a grand time!

Still waiting....

Woohoo....she's here!! Flight KE 623 has arrived from Incheon, Korea!!

There she is!!!!

I know it's blurry, but I've been anxiously awaiting that smile!!

Safe, sound and all bags present and accounted for!

Thank you, Lord.

The next morning, we had to make a run to Krispy Kreme before heading to the domestic airport. :)

So many choices!!!

Waiting to check in for our flight to Bacolod City.

Here we go! The last leg of a long journey that begin many months ago.

I CANNOT WAIT to see what God is going to do in and through this amazing young lady!

Entertaining ourselves on the flight

Not sure what was going on in the seat behind us!!

When we arrived in Bacolod, Sarah was greeted by the GMA girls from our church.

My girls are crazy!! They love to wear wigs!!

Sarah's welcome sign from our GMAs.

Abigail....aka Taylor Sweep

Awww. Aren't they cute??

I LOVE THESE GIRLS....even with crazy hair!!

In the car - heading to Bob's for dinner

Dinner at Bob's

This looks like they were really in a serious conversation, but most of the meal we were all laughing hysterically!

And yes, she really did go to sleep at the table!

joanna, this is all forms of boo. i sat here and this MADE ME CRY. :( but only because of how sweet it was to see her :(

what a blessing it is to be greeted by so many sweet faces both in manila and in bacolod. i think that sign made me lose it. and while i never went through GMAs, don't they learn about missions? so are your girls learning about themselves? ha! these are the sorts of things that run through my head.

praying. i don't really know for what but i'm so glad He does.
