St. Louis - Science Museum & Arch

After a few days in Chicago, we hit the road again and headed south to Missouri. The kids had been very excited about our plans to go to the St. Louis Zoo, but on the day we'd planned to go, it was very chilly and raining. With two VERY DISAPPOINTED kids in the backseat, we desperately looked for something to do in St. Louis that was indoors! Thankfully, we discovered the St. Louis Science Center. And it was free!!!
Missouri....the 13th state of this road trip

Driving into the city - you can see the rain

The new Cardinal's Stadium

There's the science center!

Ever felt like a hamster??

This was a pretty cool place!

The kids participated in a Lego-robot building contest

Hard at work!

Smile for mom!

Later in the afternoon, the sun FINALLY came out so we drove down to visit the Arch for a little bit.

The kids always love to see the Arch!

We only had about an hour, but we visited the Arch Museum.

When we came out from the museum, there was this AMAZING double rainbow behind the arch. Wow!!

Of course, the camera doesn't do it justice, but it was a FULL double rainbow! I've never seen one this perfect before!

You have to look hard to see the second one.

God's arch and man's arch :)
