One of the primary reasons for our crazy road trip to the northeast is that Wade was attending a week-long seminar in Annapolis, Maryland. So after our time in NYC, Wade headed back to Annapolis while the kids and I headed up to Syracuse, NY, to spend the week at the Guthrie's house. After the last several days of travelling and constantly being on the go, it was nice to have several days of staying in one place with no set agenda!
However, we did manage to squeeze in a few special things.......
....some Wii time and.....
.... gelato!!
We also were able to all spend some time working on our schoolwork.

But there WAS some excitement when the Guthrie's Sonlight shipment arrived!!
(Sonlight is the homeschooling curriculum that both of our families use. It's great stuff!!)

One day we spent some time in a mall in Syracuse. It is famous for it's antique carousel. In fact, it's called Carousel Mall!!
