When we moved to Bacolod about a year ago, God blessed us with a wonderful house and subdivision to live in. Before heading to the States for our furlough, I wanted to post a few pics of the house.
This is the street going into our subdivision. This quiet, tree-lined drive is such a nice break after driving in Bacolod traffic!
The front of our house
The family room/living room (called a "sala" in the Philippines)
See my lizard on the wall? It's actually a lamp!
The game room
This is our "Bicol Wall." These pictures and verses remind us of the 5 1/2 exciting years we lived in the Bicol Region! Between the typhoons, earthquakes and the volcanic eruptions of Mt. Mayon, we experienced all of the events of Psalm 46! These verses have become our family verses. We had them painted on the wall as a constant reminder of all the times God has protected us as a family.
The Dining room
My Starbucks City Mugs....Manila, Hong Kong, Vancouver, Portland, Bangkok, Cebu & Victoria.
The Kitchen
The Master bedroom. (We really haven't done any decorating in our bedroom. That's our next project!)
