We were blessed to be able to take a short vacation the first couple of days of May. We traveled with our friends, the Hagens, to a resort about 3 hours north of our house called Magic Splash. We were able to spend 2 nights there before traveling home. We took most of our own food and cooked out our meals. The kids spent almost every waking moment in the pools. allowing the parents to have lots of time to sit around and visit. It was so nice to get away from the daily grind of life and just be able to spend time with our kids and our friends! Here are a few pictures from Magic Splash.

The large water slide - notice it starts about 3 stories up, goes underground and then empties into the pool. Not for the faint of heart! (I confess...I wasn't brave enough to try it. But Carly, Caleb and Dad all tried it out, several times!)

Around our cabin there were a bunch of huge rocks that the kids spent several days climbing on...when they weren't in the pool! Just before leaving, we got them to all pose for a group picture.
