BMMI Team

The TRUE highlight of May was a visit to Legazpi by a 16 member BMMI team. (BMMI stands for Baptist Medical Missions International.) The team was able to have clinic both here in Legazpi and also in near by Sto. Domingo and saw almost 1,ooo patients in 3 days! It was such a blessing to see so many people from the area being cared for not only physically, but also spiritually. Here are some pics of the clinic days.
Here Caleb gets a big hug (and a new football) from his new friend, Mrs. Judy!

After patients saw the doctor, they went through one of the evangelism rooms and heard a gospel presentation. Here, Bong leads in an evangelistic Bible study about the paralytic man whose friends brought him to Jesus to be healed and Jesus told him his greatest need was his spiritual need, rather than his physical need.

Please pray with us as we begin the follow up process. There were several that attended the clinic and expressed a desire to have a Bible study in their home. Please pray that we will be able to contact these people and that the door will remain open to share the Gospel with their family.

On a personal note, it was such a pleasure for our family to visit with this team! They were a huge blessing to us in so many ways. From the way they cared for the people here, to the fellowship, to the way they spoiled our kids, they were such an encouragement. Thank you, team, for making such an impact on our little corner of the world! You will never be forgotten and we pray you will find your way back to Legazpi someday.
