On the last day of our vacation, we traveled up into the mountains to a place where there are natural hot springs. There are several pools there, all different temperatures.
The water in the stream flowing beside the springs was pretty chilly, but it felt nice after sitting in the hot pools! Ben and I spent quite a while throwing rocks and watching leaves float downstream.
These are the flowers of a plant that we found growing out of the side of the mountain. We have no idea what it is, but the flowers were so pretty!
While Ben and I were playing in the stream, we found this little crab. It's hard to tell from the picture, but he was bright purple! And he was also missing a claw.
As we were leaving the Hot Springs, we paused for a family photo. (Caleb woke up that morning with a slight fever, so you can tell by the look on his face he wasn't feeling up to par!)

Thanks, Hagens, for vacationing with us! It was a much needed break of enjoying great fellowship and also God's beautiful creation!
