In keeping with our family tradition, we woke the kids up on the morning of September the first with Christmas music and a gift! Since we live in the country with the longest official Christmas season in the world (September 1 - January 6th), we decided last year to embrace that and start our own family Christmas on Sept. 1! Now, I'm still American enough that I can't bring myself to put up my tree until after Thanksgiving. LOL!
