Visit to Iloilo

On the day after our Manila trip, our family joined several others and took a day trip to Iloilo to visit with Bro. Don and Mrs. Linda Newsom. Here are a few pictures of our adventure!

All aboard!!

Our seats for the early morning boat ride.

We got a little worried when they handed out "motion sickness bags" at the very beginning of the trip! It WAS rough, but thankfully we all made it fine - especially those who were dosed up on Dramamine. :)

Dramamine - exhibit A.

Bro. Don first took us to the Dorcas house where we were able to visit with the kids and staff for a little bit. They are precious and stole our hearts immediately!!

I thought this little guy just might be coming home with us. He and Nonoy bonded right off the bat!!

Sweet, sweet girls.

This little guy was always smiling!

This young lady was quite talkative and enjoyed visiting with Wade.

Giving and receiving lots of hugs :)

This precious one is a singer! She sang "Deep and Wide" for me several times and the workers say she can sing the National Anthem! And she's only 16 months old!!!

More hugs

Goodbye kids. We will see you again soon!!

Visiting Bro. Don's new church building

Very beautiful!!

Visiting with Pastor Elvis, who used to live in Bicol near us. We hadn't seen him and his family for quite some time so it was such a blessing to visit together again.

Thank you, Bro. Don, for a great day. We enjoyed the visit and the lunch and hope to do it again soon!
