On Friday, January 7th, Sarah and I flew to Manila to meet some very special visitors!! Toya Aultman and her son, Turner, were supposed to arrive late Friday evening, but due to some delays, they arrived Saturday morning. Thankfully, we were still able to meet them at the International airport and transfer to the Domestic airport and make our flight to Bacolod that afternoon!
Yeah!!!! They made it!!!!!
Turner is one of Caleb's best friends so this visit is very special!! Right after we picked them up in a taxi, we called Caleb from my phone and let him talk to Turner.
"Let's go there!!"
The next model for the Smile magazine!!
My traveling partner for the flight to Bacolod :)
So thankful they are here!!
"Can we just hurry up and take off??"
Staying occupied while waiting for the luggage to arrive. PTL every bag made it safe and sound all the way to Bacolod City!!
Finally made it all the way!!
Toya also played Santa and delivered a few very special Christmas gifts!!
Carly's new ipod
Caleb's new DSi
And she brought a whole suitcase full of goodies from their family and both Grandmas!!
Yum-O!!
Landri, you did good! Wade LOVES Reese's!!!!
Thank you, Landri!!
Carly's fav.....CHEESE-ITS!!!
Minnie sent us lots of calendars! Thank you, Minnie!!
Caleb's fav snack that his Mamaw buys him every Christmas!! Thank you, Mamaw!!
Mamaw even sent stockings full of goodies!
Texas vs. Arkansas :)
Dinner @ Bob's - Caleb explaining to Turner about the Mongolian Bar
Getting just the right sauces. Sarah's a pro by now!
Like father, like son!
Sarah and Toya during church....
....Turner and Caleb during church! LOL
(Can we say jet lag?? T is staying at our house and had a rough first night with very little sleep. And Caleb was also awake for most of that time too and so both of them were zonked come Sunday morning!!)
Whenever Carly has the camera, she always takes time to stop and "smell" the flowers. (Or at least take pictures of them!!)
Caleb convinced Turner to try one of his favs - freshly picked mulberries off the tree.
He liked them! (Notice the stained fingertips??)
After dinner at the CHICKEN HOUSE (sorry, no pics) we introduced T to Calea!!
It's always such a sacrifice for us to HAVE to take visitors to Calea!! LOL
After putting the boys to bed Sunday night, I went in to check on them before I went to sleep and found my son snuggled up to the globe??!! I have no idea why, but I took a picture just to remember. :)
