We're Here!!!

Well, we've made it to the other side (of the country, that is.) We've been in our (big, empty) house for about a week and are so excited that our things have arrived!! It will be nice to have beds and chairs again! (Not to mention a few other things! ha ha)

All our things seemed to have made the trip well. PTL!! And we owe a HUGE thank you to the Murphy and Yandell families who were here for the unloading. And thanks, Connie, for recording the day's events with your camera. I was a little preoccupied to be taking many pictures.

Jamin takes time to strike a pose!

Thanks again, Chaz and Rob, for all your help. Next time, we'll try to do this during the winter! LOL

Now the fun begins!!

It was a long, hot day. But we were sooo excited to have our things again and to start "settling" into our new life here.

The Moore's were so good to feed us several times during those first few days. (And to let us come take hot showers!!) Thank you so much, Aunt Linda and Uncle Doyle!

The kids had fun playing with the kittens (Yes, they made the trip too. Long story!!)

One night we were at the Moore's for dinner, and one of our Filipino families that is serving in a Creative Access Nation (CAN) was able to join us for dinner. The kids enjoyed getting to know each other and playing together. Unfortunately (for us) this family will be going back to their field in the next few days. We are thankful for this brief time we've be able to visit with them again.
